Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope all of you had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! I know I did. I’m usually slaving over a hot stove at the wee hours of the morning cooking for my family, but this year….Oh, this year….my husband did all the cooking. The fact is, my husband has actually been doing the cooking of thanksgiving dinner for a few years in a row now. He used to BEG me to let him get in the kitchen and help and I’d have to slap his hand with the utensils just to get him out and leave me alone! haha. Once we moved closer to home and closer to friends and family he took over my kitchen and I have to admit I’ve enjoyed the break. I am VERY spoiled now-a-days! I love it. So, this morning I wake up to the sound of cabinets slamming shut and the smell of a wonderful thanksgiving dinner. I thought my husband had let me sleep in all morning. It was so bright out. But when I looked at the clock it was only 9am. Yes, thats still sleeping in for ME since the kids are always awake by 6 everyday, but I was still up early enough to really enjoy my morning and help out. The kids and I did some tidying of the house while Tony slaved over the stove, and then when it was all ready we ate, and ate, and ate, and I think I took a small break in between, but then we ate and ate and ate more.
I am SOOOOO stuffed! We also enjoyed a family movie together and watched UP. If you havent seen it, its a really cute movie! After Tony took a nap(poor guy has to work tonight!) we are all still enjoying our family time. I had to sneak in the office to post this on the blog, but as soon as I get off I’m going to cuddle in on the couch with the rest of the family and watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you. All of my friends, my family, and all my wonderful, wonderful clients who I have gotten to spend evenings with getting to know your families and kiddos and share memories with you. I am thankful for you all! Enjoy!
Here’s my little chef who always has to be right in the mix of anything involving the kitchen and food!

And home made rolls…YUMM!!!
